'Tis the season to be jolly and this is no exception for those who play. bridge. You can find year round enjoyment in the weekly bridge games sponsored by the "Daughters in Cleve land" (D.I.C.) every Wednesday at SUMMER TRUCKING. The game begins at 7 p.m., while many of the players arrive earlier to enjoy their favorite beverage and to sign in with one of the group directors. Playors are seated on a first come, first serve basis. Cocktail hours at SUMNER TRUCKING have been extended until 9 p.n. There are no dues or fees and because of the Chicago. rules for playing and scoring, it isn't necessary to have a partner to play.
Seventyfive differont players have participated at various times in the past. Each night the gamos have drawn at least sixteen, and up to twentyfour people. Even if you don't know how to play bridge and want to learn, then as a holiday gift to yourself, the group's founder, Larry Rupert offers free lessons to sincero" students. For further information concerning the group, or about lessons, contact Larry at KEYS (566-0060). An even more casual gane is held at KEYS on Sundays around 3pm for those who don't get enough of the game to satisfy yourself. Welcome to Ann's Bar in Verren. On Saturday the 1st, the bar was transformed into a "Boulevard of Entertainment". The cuners, Paul and Michael are to be commended for their support in the production we were Jtreated to. Since this was the first show at Ann's, it was a show to remenber! "The Divine Miss Moon" (Paul) was the shou's star. She presented to us an unmatched rendition of Bette Midler with the Harlettes and all! On the other hand, we enjoyed Miss Lady and Holly in their slow, moving numbers. Lionel proved that a man can still perfore as a male lead in Ban all female show..... AND PERFORM HE DID! Cenevieve treated us to a Liza that was incomparable. Jon-Jon gave Bette Davis a new meaning, one that we all loved! Cixie was a surprise quest. The real surprise of the evening was Mag Riley, who delighted the crowd as Judy Garland with a performance that was well worth waiting for. Linda, the daytime bartender, exceed the event with the charm and personality of a pro. The hospitality of Warren avaits you, and it is well worth the trip, at Ann's Bas. Virg loves Linda! a more photos on page 6 & 7

The North Coast Bowling League competition is really heating up. While the standings are spreading out some, the winner of this year's league looks like it will go down to the wire. Latest results show Vaulte in first place with a slight lead over Weds. Night Jokers and W. 9th St. Baths. There are five teams in the running for fourth place and eight fighting for tenth place. Bringing up the rear are . 32nd and Arcade Cards in a tie for last place.
The standings do show that you do not necessarily have to be a good bowler or have a great team to win. The Vaults with a 600 average in in first place. U. 32nd with the third highest toan average,664, is in 17th place. The three bottom teams in team average, That Place on Bellflower, Exedra andAction Magazine are in 11th, 7th and 12th place respectively. This shows average can help but it doesn't mean everything. A last special note of congratulations to Eddy of Action Magazine who bouled a FANTASTIC 231 game last Sunday. It's high game so far this season. CONGRATULATIONS CO1 TEAM STANDINGS NOVEMBER 18 1981
